Zamboni's physical education department emphasizes the importance of physical fitness and living a healthy lifestyle. Not only do we want our students to leave our classes with an understanding of the role that regular exercise and sound nutritional diet play in long term health, but also to build positive personal relationships and to learn to take responsibility for their actions along the way.
Throughout the school year, students will have the opportunity to play both traditional and non-traditional games and sports. These include football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, hockey, paddle sports, track and field, softball and many other activities, fitness components and cardiovascular exercises. At the end of the year, students are given the opportunity to use all of the prior knowledge they have amassed throughout the year to create and teach a game of their own!
